Product development, engineering, prototypes and small series.

Monoku develops and engineers physical products, builds prototypes and manufactures small series. We take on complete development projects or clearly defined parts of them.

Product development and engineering

When an idea, technical requirement or specification needs to become a buildable product, we develop the concept and carry it through to a design ready for manufacture.

We take on

  • Clarifying requirements and constraints
  • Developing and evaluating possible solutions
  • Engineering components and assemblies in CAD
  • Selecting materials and manufacturing processes
  • Preparing drawings and manufacturing data

Result

An agreed design that can be manufactured, assembled and tested.

Improving existing products

When a product reaches a limit in use, manufacture or a new application, we investigate the cause and develop a focused modification.

We take on

  • Examining the product and its specific limitation
  • Capturing geometry and interfaces
  • Engineering and comparing possible solutions
  • Manufacturing and testing prototype changes
  • Delivering manufacturing data and a documented solution

Result

A traceable modification that improves the existing product without changing more than necessary.

Prototypes and small series

When a design needs to be tested physically or initial quantities are required, we take on manufacturing, assembly, testing and delivery.

We take on

  • Planning manufacture and assembly
  • Manufacturing or sourcing components
  • Assembling and inspecting assemblies
  • Feeding findings back into the design
  • Producing and delivering small quantities

Result

A tested prototype or an inspected small series in the agreed specification and quantity.

Commissioning and collaboration

We work on a project basis. Before work begins, we clarify the task, the intended result and the scope we will take on.

The scope is clear

Services, deliverables, timeframe and costs are set out in a proposal. The agreed project scope is then commissioned.

The scope is still open

We begin with a defined concept or feasibility phase. Based on its findings, we decide together whether and how to proceed.

Direct collaboration

Throughout the project, clients speak directly with the people who develop, engineer and build. We make technical decisions together wherever requirements, effort and results need to be weighed against one another.

Would you like to develop a product or improve something that already exists?

Tell us briefly what it is about. We will get back to you personally and discuss where we can meaningfully support the project.
